Here is the Flash Rate Max (FPM) of our stroboscope for reference

http://www.maintsys.com.au/images/products/measure-test/brochures/Checkline%20Strobes.pdf

hmm...

2-12500FPM, flash per minute ba?

mababa lang pala...
12500/60 ~208flash per second or like 200 Hz lang.

i am actually designing my own strobescope using CCP ng PIC. overkill na pala yung at pangit ng design ko. 100,200,300...1000 yung ginagawa kong presets. ;D

@Martin****

bat kailangan pa ng multiple flash during On time? para saan ba ito?

kung maglalagay ng STROBO, i-seset mo siya same freq of drops *at that point* where mo gusto tingnan ang FROZEN image nun...

;D  AYOS yan tingnan pag ganun... out of synchronousITY , lets say yung strobo mo is SET for freq = 1.5Meters from bottom (or sa gitna) yung top will look like SLOW FORWARD movement, the center will FREEZE and the bottom part will look like SLOW BACKWARD movement...

ah okay Rafft thanks...

^experiment nalang for best viewing angle :)

btw, here is my LED strobo.. naTEST ko na ito using PC PS fan... nasa mga 2Krpm yung FREEZE image nya... FPM(flash per minute range is 17 - 300Hz , im using 220k pot)

pag OK na, eh gawan nalang ng PIC prog as freq counter to monitor the FPM

like this:
fpm = 17
rpm = 1020
//freq * 60

 I interfaced it to a 12V xenon flasher(modified it to have FASTER flashing tapos may input na for pulses)

medyo mahina lang ang output nito(supply for the strobo is @9V only.. baka masira ang maliit na xenon bulb..  :(

replaced the 10uF/400V elcap to 120nF 400V.. for faster charging at the expense of lesser FLASH output

eto naman front.. xenon bulb assembly taken from a discarded camera... buti ito kasi may reflector na

the whole setup.. in my workbench, cluttered ;D

photo taken while unit in operation   NOTE:walang CAMERA FLASH yan...  :)

strobo
and here is the video.. wait nyo nalang.. processing pa...

@RaffT
eto yung LED nya
