Hi guys help me nman po about my problem sa power supply ng motor ko! From a.c. Which is from magneto or power generator ng mga motor to d.c. Ganito po kasi!
Dapat po kasi di la2gpas ng 15VDC ang pu2nta sa batery ko! Kasi po pag lumagpas na ng 15VDC nagbablock out na yung digital dashbord ko o yung speedo meter! Anu po dapat kong gawin para di lumagpas ng 15VDC?
Note po new na ang batery ko 12v 7amp na! Ang original batery spec. ng motor ko dati e 12v 4amp ang tanung ko po dito eh! May epekto po ba ang mataas na amp kaya ngka2ganun ang digital bord ko? o ang voltage regulator ko mataas ang output supply to battery or abnormal ang cutoff nya! Baka po may regulated power supply design kayo diyan na nagcucut out pg dating ng 15vdc! T.y. Po

check mo ang regulator ng magneto or power generator, maaaring mahigit 15VDC ang lumalabas dito.
kung may mabibili ka palitan mo na lang or kung mahirap humanap either gawa ka na lang or hanap ka ng universal type na regulator.
kung motor yan tanong ka dun sa auto/motor supplies/shop kung meron silang replacement.
hanggat maaari kung mapapalitan mo ng original yun ang gawin mo pero kung masyadong mahal naman at mahilig kang mag assemble ng mga circuit then gawa ka na lang.

nanotech my design ka po ba jan ng regulated power supply mejo mahal nga po ung original at mejo, dinala ko siya sa suzuki mismo ang sabi sakin sira lang daw battery ko kaya ginawa ko naman pinalitan ko battery ko ng bago, pero ganun parin po same problem kaya iniisip ko regulator ko nga my problema gusto ko sana gawin eh, pag umabot na ng 15v or 16v eh may relay na magcucut off sa supply ng charging pero siguro IC controled na yun pag ganun tama po ba? meron po bang way para mag cut off siya sa 15v t.y. po mga master

huhuhu sir nanotech w8 lang po ha punta lang me clinic dumudugo na ilong ko at tenga ko sa binigay you po na diagram, sir 3 phase yata yan single phase lang po sana t.y. po
edit....
ah sir ganito nalang po ask ko nalang po if pwede kaya mag series nalang po me ng resistor sa positive side ng output ng regulator ko papuntang battery makaka reduce po pa ng voltage un? nung tinester ko po kasi siya umaabot siya ng 17vdc eh, what value po kaya ng resistor and what watts ang pwede ko e series para bumaba naman ng kahit 2 or 3volts yung 17volts na narereding ko t.y. po

puede mo ring i-disregard yung isang set ng scr/diode kaya ang gagamitin mo ay L1 at L2 lang.
tinesting mo ba kung AC or DC ang lumalabas sa output? kailangan alam mo ang output voltage at current para ma-compute mo ang resistor na gagamitin mo pero I would suggest na gamitan mo na lang ng regulator kesa resistor para sigurado kang regulated ang output.

salamat po sir nanotech dami me natutunan sa iyo mejo nagkaka idea nako! sir DC po yung output ng regulator ko mga 17vdc umaabot gusto ko po sana mga hangang 15vdc lang eh, kasi pag umabot na ng 16vdc lumalabo na yung digital speedo meter ko and pag umabot na ng 17vdc nagbloblock out na siya abnormal na....
kaya baka pwede po kaya na resistor nalang na may mataas na watts kabit ko? kasi nagkabit ako dati sa output ng regulator ko ng IC 7815 (voltage regulator) nasunog lang po
cguro dahil sa load niya, eh what sir mag paralllel nalng me ng IC (voltage regulator) na 7815 tatas po kaya yung capacity nya para dina pati siya masunog uli salamat po uli

ur welcome! supposedly, hanggang 12vdc (+1volt) lang dapat yung supply dun sa electronics mo dahil nga sa function ng regulator. kaya nagiging abnormal ang speedometer mo dahil maaaring lumalagpas na ito sa absolute maximum rating ng components (ICs, etc).
kaya nasunog ang 7815 mo dahil masyadong mataas na ang load current mo at (siguro di mo nilagyan ng heatsink) di na kaya ng isang 7815, puede mo itong i-parallel kung alam mo ang maximum output current ng supply/regulator (or maximum current load plus allowance) at mas maganda kung lalagyan mo ng heatsink at fan.
check mo ito at hanapin mo yung portion ng :
High current supply uses standard three-terminal regulator
bakit 15vdc ang ginagamit mo, para sakin dapat 12-13vdc lang...

yes po sir my heatsink me na ginamit dun sa 7815 ko and yung heatsingk po ay naka dikit sa body which is negative po, try ko nalang po muna mga parralel ng 3 0r 4 na 7815 para sure hehe wala me option eh, t.y. po sir feedback ko nalng po kayo if succesful

bago mo gawin yan siguruduhin mo na kaya ng 3 or 4 na 7815 ang load mo dahil kung hindi baka masunog lang ulit yan...
