btw, it's not purely 12v, it's stepped up upto 100v

...and using very efficient cold amps(IMHO also cold & synthetic sounding), also known as class D.

he's using rockford tk15 which as a hybrid (as they claim it ) the circuit looks like a class h class d combination, due to the number of transistors/mosfets inside

way back in the 90's, we use Bass 305 CD's as our reference material in trying out the "boom boxes" that we installed in cars, common were the Targa, those with a well endowed wallet use Pyle Driver, bi-amping is the usual preferred choice...
