can anyone help me kung anong dapat kong gamitin na transducer dito, sabi ng adviser namin microphone daw. Nag search na kami sa net at mic nga ata talaga. pero pano namin gagawin pra makapagproduce sya ng electrical energy na enough to charge a battery? thanks...

ngayon pa lang sasabihin ko... it won't work. kung windmill nga hirap na hirap. what more kung sound...
meron bang technology na gumagamit na nito?

i also believe na mahihirapan kayo sa pagcoconvert ng sound to electrical energy.. i just dont know if this is possible..

hmm.. ayon sa nabasa ko sa wiki, microphones are primarily dependent on vibrations produce by the sound in the internal components of the mic (e.g piezo).. hmm.. from sound ---> mechanical ---> electrical.. mukang may mga energy ng mawawala during energy conversions.. hehe..

the sound sensor can be a ceramic transducer(gumamit ka ng marami para mas higher ang output.. find a way na yung accumulated voltage eh PULSED VOLTAGE nyang ibibigay sa battery..

in due time, maCHARGE din yang battery.. ;D

This old topic is possible and feasible.  But do not expect to charge your AAs or Li-Ion batts.  Here's how you do it:

Sound is wave energy which is AC.  What you need is a constant sound source that you can harvest with a mic or piezo device.  Amplify it or put the signal thru a charge pump (diode-capacitor ladder).  If you have enough stages, you can store the DC into a super capacitor which acts like a battery.

Use it to power a joule thief circuit and you can light an LED.

i really doubt it... prove it first.
get it on video.
then let's see how would it be possible.

Di ba yung mga gas ignitors ay piezo which produces thousands of volts?  So why can you not store this into a capacitor. My premise is that you first get a CONSTANT source of sound and amplify it.  It's up to the experimentor to prove this, I just gave an idea.
