thanks

no... di po pwede yang 9V mo.

should you want to calculate for the proper capacitor, you may refer here: http://my.integritynet.com.au/purdic/power1.html

sa given na circuit above [posted by roland], at 3A, you need 1N5400 rectifier diode. 1n5400 is a 3A diode, kung gusto mong pasiguro, you may use the next diode rating. 6A na yun. however, i normal case di naman nakakarating sa 3A ang application mo.  3A x 12V = 36W. sabi mo 15W di ba? so OK na yung 1N5400.

sa capacitor naman, you can simple pick values starting from 1000uF - 25V.

@viel_dk,hindi pwede ang 9v@200ma dahil masyadong mababa @ di kayang i-drive yong power amplifier mo.based on the spec of your ampl.is 15w/12vdc.in otherwords,P=IE: P=15w and E=12vdc I=?ampere(unknown)

therefore:I=15w divided by 12v=1.25A
I=1.25ampere or 1250milliamps(minimum current rating of your transformer).

sa cap naman, mas malaking value mas maganda since mas mataas ang filtering/maliit ang ripple voltage and maliit ang noise mo.

ah..thnks po sa mga info...masters!.. ;Dhehe
