And i based it on my own experience nang nagpakipagsapalaran ako dito sa maynila. Fresh grad. ako at board passer ng OCT 2011. With less than 1 month nakawork agad ako sa semicon as an application engr...Depende naman siguro sa taong gumagamit nang license kung panu sya dumiskarte sa paggamit nito. At isa pa based sa mga feedbacks regarding sa mga technology/technology/ece graduates (non-license) the promotion and opportunities parang limited lg hindi katulad kapag license ka..

^ not necessarily, marami ka pang makikita. ;)

I know of lots of managers who are not licensed or not even an ECE graduate.

sometimes, employees and applicants also never know the level of technical knowledge some of the HR have. ;) did you know that there are some companies who have the HR and some other employees, who are actually not ECE's, who are lecturing the Cadet ECE's about technical aspects regarding what the company does?

sayang kung edge nga yung license pero magpapaboost iyan ng confidence lalo na kung nag-aaply sa job pero in reality wala naman talaga pagkakaiba if license ka or not, nasa attitude and skills pa din.i'm not discouraging you to take licensure exam but the fact is nasa sayo iyan.

OT:
may kakilala ako di sya ECE pero malufet hehehe
