The settings depends on what MCU or EEPROM you will program, the type of programmer you use, the OS of your PC and speed of your PC (delay).

We cannot guess what you are doing and needs if you don't give more info.

JDM based programmer works with winpic800 and icprog.

Check your wirings. It maybe inverted or loose.
Check your power supply VDD and VPP voltages.
VPP is at ~13V while VDD=~5V.

yan din ang problema namin sa ic-prog last sem ;D isa sa mga pwedeng mali ay yung pagkakainstall ng ic-prog mo kaya nagkakaganyan

kapag serial port based na programmer hindi naman na kelangan ng external supply, ano po gamit mong programmer? can you post the schematics?

ahm db po ung ckt n ginawa ko eh simplified version lng. . .  inalis lng po un sa 7805 part na regulator part???  nasa specs din po b un ng pc??? pd rin po bang maging problem ung sa bios settings ng pc?

Ano ang computer mo? Laptop? netbook?
Laptops won't give +/-15V on its serial port and causes lower voltage on the VPP line.

Also, if your PC is a fast one, you should increase the delay setting on ICPROG or WINPIC software.
As I posted earlier, you should give more info in order to diagnose your problem well.

pc po. . . mejo ndi ko po kasi alam ung mga kailangang i consider para sa pic programming using serial port. . . ung sa delay po mejo tinaasan ko n rin po nagtrial and error n rin po ako sa mga settings... sa set p n po ata ng pc ung problema eh ... ndi ko po alam ung sa bios set up ng pc kng panu katikutin. .  baka po kasi naka disable ung sa port. . . im planning to use this http://www.e-gizmo.com/KIT/eICD2.htm para po bibili n lng po ako ng usb to serial ndi sa cdr king galing. . . ndi daw po kasi gumagana n... salamat po sa concern
