meron akong on progress na personal fet amplifier
I based it on an textbook, kinda like pass also
and like nung pinost mo.
trying to make it work sa 12 to 15 volts split supply
it is a class A, few parts

split supply, meaning dalawang supplies kelangan nya?
ano pala ang gamit mong simulator?

yeah it is a split supply + and -
I am planning to build this little amplifier
not sure kung ano kakalabasan,
first time ko nag nagdedesign ng ganitong
klase na amp. usually I build push pull
na low wattage lang.
ang gamit kong simulator is
yung luma kong power pro na multisim
binili ko way back 2001
i am looking nga s new version
nde gumagana pag install.
any idea where i can get a free copy that is working smoothly?

you are correct, mas mahirap mag design ng analog kaysa digital

kahit yung addition ng random noise napapakinggan nila. ;D

alam din nila yung constructive noise at destructive noise.

sobrang selan ng mga tenga nila. ;D ;D ;D

@rdpzycho

tama ka talaga. lahat ng noise
pinapakinggan. I myself is already half deaf
ang bawat isa, you cannot please everybody.
I've been in this business for almost 20 yrs.
and videophile.   :)

i will not be on a golden ears club hehehe  ;)
basta i will design and build na akala kong

1. MOSFETs tends to be resistive during high loads compared to BJTs that
exibits thermal runaways thus leads to its own demise. But a short circuit
protection can be added to the output of the power Transistors.

2. If this will be your first amplifier project, I would suggest that you start
with BJTs and be familiar with all biasing techniques and computations. You
will appreciate your own design if you know how each voltages and currents
   were derived.

it is a good idea po to start with bjt
which is always the case, but one can also start
i have a co worker before he starts with fets projects
but the good thing is he has some backgrounds in xisistor, its just
the projects he started with fets.
I started desgining and building project sa bjt po ;D

@oasis03

I am not sure kung meron akong 400W na MOSFET. I will
try to look sa mga old files ko.
Are you gonna use it sa home lang ba?

I agree with this quote. I have a Japanese friend who is an audiophile. He has a big rack of different kinds/brands of High End Home Theater Amps/Receivers and Speakers from Pioneer, Onkyo, Denon, Sony, JVC and Bose. The models he have can only be seen in Akihabara which is totally expensive!

He already spent millions of Yen for his very expensive hobby! Almost every year he upgrade his systems.

Anyway, Class-D Amps are the best as of now. They efficient, light weight and less space. There are lots of Class-D IC's nowadays you can see in the market specially sa Car Audio. In my company, all IC amps being develop is Class-D.

Talagang magandang market. Would you believe pati power cord and interconnects ginagastusan nila ng thousand dollars. Power cord na 3000dollars. What the #$@%!$! Wala namang basis or explanation na effective sya. Meron pang mamahaling caps na snake oil and die electric. Daming myths!!!

Tama po kayo sir. I agree, not only power cables, some also used power line conditioner (line filter) for their home theater (my japanese friend have it).
