hot item siya in the US...

sabi ng isang source (who makes equipment for Audiophiles in the US) mas natural sounding daw ang tubes kahit mas mataas ang THD...and output spectrum, walang odd harmonics specifically 3rd and 5th...merong 2nd harmonic pero mas natural sounding daw talaga compared to the artificially sounding 3rd and 5th harmonic...

older ECE's than us may still have amps that use tubes...I am not an Audiophile so I can't really distinguish the difference... ;D

ok ganyang amps. my uncle uses a marshall guitar combo amp na de-tubo, mas ok daw tunog kesa sa usual amps na binebenta ngayon sa mga stores that sell musical instruments.

Sana may mag post nang supplier dito! Gusto ko ring maka experience niyan! and also meron bang marunong mag bias niyan in the most practical way, di na natin kasi naabutan yan e. Sa US, yung ibang pang HI-END AMPS nila ay combination ng transistors and Vacuum tubes... ASTIG!  ;)

di ko lang sigurado kung pinagbibili yung nakita ko. may nakadisplay dun sa may elis shop (yata) sa raon. yung street papuntang alexan galing dun sa may allied bank. gusto ko nga sana magtanong nung pagpunta ko, pero sobrang init, kaya nagmadali ako.

mga bro meron pa mabibilhan ng tubes sa RAON sa may WATSON electronics mejo mahal nga lang output tubes mostly EL34 Php 1,700 up depende sa manufacturer, 6L6GC Php 1,500 ang isa. meron ako d2 unit 4 output tubes EL34 astig pagdating sa bass

well magandang simula na yan.. meron naman palang nabibili. gagawa din ako pag ngkaoras na. gagamitin ko sa gitara ko.
sa ngayon, kailangan natin nga circuit para makagawa out of those available tubes.

sana may magshare naman yung may experience na sa tubes. hehehe
di ko din kasi inabutan ito eh!

hi sir...im using a vacuum tube amp. I'd had 3 stereo amp, using EL84, 832A, and 1 SE807. At yung iba eh...different topologies ng linestage. Maraming sources pa rin  ng tubo dito sa atin, like mang gerry.

i ordered tubes on-line, there are many sites in the USA selling $1 tubes.....you only need to know which tubes to pick...
tube for vertical and horizontal scanning in tube TV's makes good power audio tubes, they are still in the millions in the states...

i design tube audio equipment......yung mga nakadinig ng gawa ko sa house, napapaisip talaga.......
the cost of the irons, like output transformers and power transformers and chokes are the biggest money items in any tube audio equipment....

i also design and build transformers for tube equipment.......
