Re: makatutulong po ba ung cisco sa career nating mga Electronics Engineer
Since Cisco is the leading producer of network equipment(supports and documentations) and the majority of multi-national companies only preferred using their devices;especially from: Uncle Sam and Queen Elizabeth.Chances are you will encounter technicalities about these devices when/if you are employed
in the engineering/IT sections of some/almost Multi-national companies(here and particularly abroad).
If you are an electronic engineer/developer and embracing Opensource(etc) you will coarse Cisco
for only one reason-proprietary.Hence, Opensource have different alternatives instead of patronizing
features and services/applications of a proprietary brand( ie Cisco products) pc router ,Openwrt,IPcop,Asterisk and etc.
Example: IP based MCU-embedded projects
Of coarse , networking engineering is the issue here not a Cisco.
-> There are several brands to help you simulate the functions of your project
esp. opensource (software/s):
My point of view here , as long as network engineering is inevitable(related) to the field of electronic engineering there is an instance that we are apt to familiarize these devices(Not only Cisco-Opensource
