pls help me about stepper motor....

  ???anybody can help me about stepper motor?

we had our stepper motor from an old printer.. but we dont know the specs of it because as Ive said its kinda old..old and wrecked 

it has five pins and we dont know if its bipolar or unipolar.. because we dont have any idea bout it

we want to use the stepper motor for our pick and place robot, for the elevation of arm and rotation ng pinaka stand namin 180 degrees..

are we able to use that? kasi po mahal ung servo eh kaya po nangahoy nlng kmi

and what controller are we going to use?

pede po bang timer nlng 555? or relay para madali sana
