sir.. pde po mkihingi ng advice para sa thesis namin. we are currently working with our thesis na parking system using microcontroller.. we would like na m.interface nmin cya sa sa pc using database programs.. (yung parang mg.lolog.in ka sa isang computer sa internet cafe?). ano pung ikakasugest nyu.. at yung system namin ai mai mobile application.. ex..ung custmer ay ng ng.text na gusto malaman ang status ng parking area.. panu yung information na galing sa pc m.tratrasfer via mobile..any suggestions na medyo madali lng???... tnx....

ung communication between sa customer and the server via sms gagamit ka ng gsm module. pwede ka gumamit ng globe tattoo para makamura ka, if my pera ka mga 5k+ pwede ka buy ng benq gsm module sa e-gizmo. problem lang sa mga gsm modules if iapply mo sya sa underground parking or ung covered na parking baka maging issue ang signal dito.

Use an MCU with UART, thesis lang naman so i guess you dont have to use RS485 network para maextend ang connection.. connected sa serial port ng PC.. pero gagamit ka pa rin para sa GSM Module mo(if GSM Modem ang gagamitin, if yung Broadband modem di na kasi USB ito)

anong program ang gagamitin nyo? VB?

as for the sms, you can integrate it on the application that you are going to make...

we do have similar system like this.. pero wala syang SMS...=)

all in all you have to focus with your software...=)

ahh KK..so ang problema nlng dito ai kung pano magagamit ung GSM module... d pa kac nkakagmit nun... mahirap pa mg.modify gmit nito.. magagamit pa rin ng AT commands?....available ba yung gsm module ng globe tatoo?

yeah gagamit kayo ng AT commands.. yung sa Globe tatoo.. yep pede yun check mo muna yung thread dito before proceeding...

yup RS232 = serial port... yun ang gagamitin mo=) the PC will serve as the Master

java po gagamitin? medyo mahirap ata yan as far as i know kasi sa vb.net ung mga classes meron na gagamitin mo na lang sila at idedeclare para magamit. hmm pero kung magaling kayo sa java go

sa Java, research on Java Comm API... yung new version ng Java Comm 3.0 API IIRC, Linux ang target OS... yung version 2 ng Java Comm API ang ginamit ko dati para sa windows...

ah..so mas madali sa VB..gagaw rin kac kmi ng database sa whole parking area.. ang problema nmin kung pano i.interface yung information nkuha ng sensor nmin sa PIC na gagamitin den pic to pc den pc to the gSM module..baguhan lng kac kmi so wla kming nalalaman..

VB6 at .NET madali lang gamitan ng serial port... if you can freely use any language, ok na ang .NET language (C# or VB.NET)...

about database at pag .NET ginamit nyo, pwede nyo din gamitin yung Microsoft SQL Server na kasama pag naginstall ka ng Visual Studio Express...

PIC to PC == use UART
PC to GSM == depende kung ano gagamitin nyong GSM modem

ano ba yung isesense ng PIC?

i advice na mysql gamitin nyo kasi pwede nyo imerge yung mga database na galing sa ibat ibang pc into one

ang incoming and leaving car ang i.sesense ng PIC... so parang mai database containing ilang oras na ng.papark ang car at elan na ang babayaran... so microsoft Sql can be used para mka.interface ng ganitong fuctions from pic to pc?

ung sql is ung ggmtin mong database na nanggaling sa pic papasok ng pc for example ung sensor mo sa pic nagccount pg my nasesense na kotse na papasok tapos every count nya is madadagdagan ng +1 ung table entry mo sa database na name ay car count, sa tuwing my papasok na kotse ung pic mgsesend ng signal to pc na my nasense syang kotse na ipapasok naman nya sa database mo using sql

the Sensor will only give logic 1 or 0 to the MCU and the MCU will send the current status to the PC.. afterwards the PC will process the GSM Command/Instruction you will imply=)

as for our project gumamit kami ng cellphone sony ericson at yung para sa rs23t gumamit kami ng max232 na circuit. ang problem nlng namin ngaun ay ung program sa pag interface sa project namin.. any suggestions po..ty..^^
