posible kaya madagdagan ang range kung papalitaan ko yung IR led o kaya dagdagan ko yung IR led.

Yes you can, but you have to increase the drive of the transistor.  You could replace the transistor with a mosfet or add another higer rating and darlington it to the driver.

Use also a separate seres resistor for each LED.  This will distribute the current evenly between IR leds.

driver circuit lang pala na higher current ang kelangan ko  :)

yup...even yung IR led ng remote na-try ko na i-drive to emit up to 10 meters...can't remember the current accross the LED pero definitely much higher than 20mA...

Meron akong nabasa na isang gadyet na kung saan eextend nya range ng iyong IR.  teka mahanap nga yun..

eto yung binasa ko dati pero hindi ko ginamit yung mga IC...

pwede mo rin ikabit yung IR LED sa reflector ng lumang flashlight (dun sa focus mo ilalagay)...lalayo yung range pero magiging directive, straight line lang... ;)
