1/16" o 1/32" po ba yung pinakamaliit na size for PCB drilling?

For resistor and capacitor component leads, 1/32 is the most common and the 1/16 bit maybe a bit big a hole to make.  1/16 bit for the ic sockets.  Sometimes, 1/16 bits are also not enough specially for high current rectifier diodes.  Just use a combination of both ..... generally use 1/32 and just enlarge the holes later on with the appropriate size bit.

Sa mga FR4 na pcb's umiiyak yung hss na drill bit na made in china..hehehe...san kaya makakuha ng carbide tip?

I bought one from DEECO ok nman cya malaki at powerful kya lang dapat may 12v 3amp ka source pra ok performance ang problem lang di ko napapagana ung speed control nya.

Wag lang kyo bibili nung sa mga mall na rechargeable (ung blue na idenedemo sa SM) ksi mahuna lalo na kung mataas ang humidity sa lugar nyo. Napuputol kci ung copper na naghohold sa brush gwa ng parang kalawang (ung sa akin ksi nakita ko ung negative terminal nakakabit ng direct sa copper).

May local na mabibilhan kaya nito? Sa Hongkong pa kami dati nagpapabili nito...

Di talaga tatagal ang ordinary bit sa FR4. Carbide tip lasts much longer, problem lang, very brittle. Madaling mabali kung hindi steady ang kamay mo during manual drilling (drill press), and each one costs 300-500 pesos (ouch!).

Yup...carbide tip requires at least 30k rpm! at dapat walang wobble yun ha..kaya hindi recommended sa mini hand drill..

pwede naman sa Dremel at 18k RPM. pero kailangan talaga steady ang kamay.

mahal sa RS. pero naaalala ko meron.

may mga nabibiling carbide tip dito, pero hindi ko alam kung meron nung maliliit.
