how to repair atx 300 psu?

tinangal ko po ang atx 300 psu sa motherboard at short ko ang #4 and #5 which is green and black pero ayaw talaga mag start...na icheck ko po ang primary power supply ok naman po ang voltage...paano po ba itroubleshoot itong atx 300 psu? saan po ba may diagram nito?...pls help po mga bosing!! TIA.

bili ka nalang bago mas mura mahirapan hanapin yung mosfet na kadalasang sira

parehas lang sa 300W yan ganyan din mas malaki lang mga trafo at mas mataas rating ng ibang components

tignan mo muna yung nasunog na part dyan na pwedeng ireplace(karamihan nasisira yung sense resistor pag pumutok ang PSU) or sometimes bloated caps or buntis/lumubong caps ang problema at ok na,pag MOSFETS naman nakita mong pumutok better to buy a true rated PSU dahil di nya kaya yung PC system mo.

sa secondary side ang problem:

1.first step muna visual inspection kung may parts na nadale.replace it ng bago.

2.second step kung wala kang makitang device na nasira,test ka ng
  active device like power transistors(MOSFET),power diodes,PWM IC's(kung may output na pulses), at signal transistors,op-amps,etc.minsan yung standby power sira na din.

3.third step test yung power transformer(bihira ito ang case,unless kung underrated yung power handling ng transformer),in my case pumutok na lahat ng ginagawa ko dito,di pa nasisira yung power transformer,puro active devices karamihan at ecaps.

even bago pa man buksan ang psu, pwede ka na mag trouble shoot.....

check mo muna kung may 5volts standby voltage.....then kung may voltge sa pin 14.....

so kapag binuksan mo na yung psu mo, me idea ka na kung ano ang sira...

ito yung tinatawag na half-bridge topology....panisini nyo yung Q1/Q2 na kumukuha ng power sa caps C1/C2 thru C7, yung 1ufd/250 volt film cap ay naroon para protectahan yung 2 switching trannies at para hindi masaturate yung chopper transformer.....

meron pang ibang topology na gumagamit ng mosfet choppers, yung mga high powered psu's gamit ito....forward converters ang topology...

ok sundin mo sila pero may na encounter na ko trouble na pag walang standby voltage minsan yung 2Meg na resistor sa may AC input yung open, wala ata dyan sa diagram.

Sir the basic approach to repair  atx power supply is to learn the basic principles on how atx... power supply works? ... pagnatutunan nyu po un kahit anung....atx power supply. ay magagwa nyo na po...pero so far ung ginagawa po nyo ngaun sir...chech nyo ung stnby section ng atx... psu...kc un ung sumusuply sa mainbord ng motherboard ng pc to trigger the... high amp..supply, power supply ng cd rom,, hdd. and casing fan and other cp hardware peripheral.sana makatulong...

rectifier ng 12volt rail yan....pwede mo ring palitan ng to-220 type na rectifier, tatlo paa...

sis, masyado kang naligayahan sa repair mo antagal na nito malamang bago na pc ni thread starter!
malamang gusto mo lang makatulong pero ang dami pang thread diyan na buhay na buhay pa dun ka sana tumulong. paalala - Tingnan ang huling petsa ng reply baka di na interesado si ts or tapos na ito
