Japan FM Tuner
« on: January 26, 2010, 11:00:33 AM »
hi! about 20 years ago, I used to rechannel japan fm tuners by merely adjusting the inductor coils to stretch physically and cover our own frequency range, with the advent of digital fm tuners, is it still the same or I have to replace a quartz crystal or what? I intend to buy a japanese car stereo for my car but this is one of my problems...  i want the frequency display to be accurate too from 76 to 90 to 88 - 108 MHz (that can't be done with a band expander)

thanks
