1st tym lng po gagawa ng pcb... sadya b n u have to on & off the circuit para iilaw ang next led sa proj n 2? http://www.kpsec.freeuk.com/projects/heart.htm sa multisim & breadboarding namin inoon-off pa namin para umilaw yng next

tingin ko bro hindi na kailangan, yung LM555 ang nag-gegenerate ng pulse na each time my pulse na pumapasok sa next IC, dapat gumagalaw ng yung ilaw.

Re: 1st tym project making: 555 astable to 4017 decade counter

textbook 555 astable at what seems to be 15 hz. No need to on/off the switch.

Sa multisim, try to change the max time and step time and always clear intrument data before simulating. Baka dun lang. :)

Sa bread board, try separating the 555 timer circuit and verify if it outputs the desired square wave with an oscilloscope.  ;) tapos manually trigger the counting sa 4017. Divide and conquer hehehe.  ;D

Hope this helps. :)

the ic we used is NE555. iba b xa sa LM555? or all 555 ic's are the same?

baka yung output pulses ng 555 IS NOT driving the CD4017 counter?? try to check that.... tiningnan ko link bigay mo, 555(clock) 4017(counter) LEDs for display.... check mo pin#3(555) going to CLK input ng 4017...

edit- sa configuration palang ng 555, ASTABLE yan..  ;)

BUT if ever , di pa rin mag "run" and display, malamang sira na yang 555 nyo...

hehe.. may link pala.  :D

muntik na ako malaglag sa upuan ah....hehe....ngayon mo lang napansin na may link....hehe...peace!! ;D

@ zhi_hong

try mo disconnect yung connection between pin 3 of 555 timer at pin 14 ng up conter mo. lagyan mo ng LED sa pin 3 ng 555 tsaka mo tignan kung ano mangyayari sa LED, dyan m makikita kung gumagana yung pulse ng astable timer mo.

talaga bang 1uF yung capacitor mo? try mo 10uF den yung 47k resistor m eh gawin mong trimmer, para ma-adjust yung speed ng running lights mo....

very slow kasi ang simulation sa multisim, so you might think na isang LED lang ang iilaw.

try simulating it using proteus, para near real-time ang simulation. Or build the actual circuit sa breadboard
