mas mgnda po kz for every concepts learned in lectures,,dpat maipakita kgad eto in reality using laboratory experiments..

if you want to create mathematical models, yes you will use them..

what is important as said by tita born2bewired is the skill that will be developed habang ginagamit mo ang differential equations sa degree mo...

Actually madami applications sa DE even in the medical field. Remember bacterial growth problems in DE way back 3rd year college. scribd.com/doc/2343118/first-order-differential-equation-applications. Even if you are not a civil engineer. During the construction of your house you'll see trusses and beams. Try to remember your lessons in  mechanics. That's the application of engineering mathematics you understand easily why is it designed that way. Your analysis is applied. Masuwerte para sa akin ang mga new generation kasi me internet na sila during our time pipila ka pa sa library para mang hiram ng books minsan wala kanang mahiram dahil naunahan kana. madami source sila ngayon at sa tingin ko naka spoon fed na lahat. all they have to do is to budget their time limit lang sa mga gimik. but enjoy college days. kasi ako nag enjoy din ako dati na nagbigay ng masayang ala ala para sa akin. ;)

mas madali kong naa-appreciate 'yung actual based sa mga lectures. medyo mabigat nga lang for an Intro to Circuits. :D

I've been into electronics longer that the lifetime of most people here (pero mas matanda sa akin si ate rdp), and yet, I still find it helpful to review and relearn basic electronics from time to time. Yung mga tinatawag nating basics are actually the most important. They are the foundations everything about electronics is built upon. If you cannot understand the basics, there is no hope you will ever understand anything above it.

Back to mathematics..

A very famous man once quipped.. "Mathematics is the language of nature." I do not remember if it was Newton or Galileo, but I am too lazy to google this time. Google it yourself if you want to find out. ;D By the way, Newton and Leibnitz invented calculus independent of each other and at about the same time. If you hate calculus, blame it to these persons.

But I've got a lot to thanks to these great men. Without their calculus and mathematics, we will still be practically in the dark ages. There will be no physics, no science and technology, no progress. If you still cannot imagine this, imagine a world without laptop, PS3, internet, and Porn. That's how important mathematics is!
Electronics <- Once you got a taste of it, you will never get enough.

Insanity <- Doing the same thing, expecting different results.

In my own opinion, masuwerte na nga ang mga generation ngayon dahil kung talagang pagtutuunan ng atensyon, madali na ang electronics design due to the advent of electronics simulators nowadays. Unlike previous days..you need to have a good stocks of electronic components to start building your design (gastos) at for prototyping (labor), though nothing beats an actual prototyping rather than display on LCD screen.

In my existing work, i was amazed dahil pati mechanical parts, may mga simulator na rin ling Solidworks, Alibre etc.

But then again, nothing beats the old fashion way of design, dahil mas magiisip ka ng malalim kung nakikita mong nasusunog ang electronic parts sa prototype mo due to wrong design, kaysa nakadisplay lang sa screen....MAGASTOS ATA YUN.... ;D ;D

start quote
it's sad that more and more can't design a circuit and prototype!

"pahingi nang schematic"
"walang alam sa logic ic's"
"rf ciruit?" tamang wrong spelling pa....

and many more.

How can we help them out?   ;D
i believe they only need a little big brother.

just post any ideas how you complete your electronic project.   ;D
end quote
