zener diode tester
« on: March 13, 2010, 01:05:41 PM »
;) mga master ask ako saan makabli ng ac volt meter 30 volts mpara sa zener diode tester ko,ang zener diode tester kce has the capablity to mesure volt of zener diode from 2.5 to 24 volts, and also has the capblity to test components part, that our analog tester connot, zener diode tester can test in under load reading.can test diode, regulator, battery, led, etc,,tnx ;D 8)
I believe that it's in our failures that we learn the most.

A better approach if you want - is to use a constant current source capable of supplying 5mA and a compliance voltage of 40+ volts. Checking a zener diode is just a matter of connecting it to the current source and measuring its zener voltage. This approach eliminates the need to ramp up the voltage. It is also offers automatical protection against shorted zener diodes or connecting the zener diode in forward direction.
The world, as everybody knows, is analog; unless, of course, it's digitized.
