I have project which is a  Logic IC Tester.  It can test 74LS/HC etc.  It has a 2X16 LCD Module and a 3X4 Keypad.  The result is displayed on the LCD.  You enter the IC Number using the keypad.
I can give you the schematic, Write up,Source Code and prototype of the IC Tester.  I will also give the TTL ICs which are used to test the device.  The IC Tester uses an 16K 8051  microcontroller Because of the size of the firmware.It performs a functional test of the IC on all pins.  Please text me at 09158872962 for your best offer.  I will also accept two 10W solar panels or one Brand new Samsung Spinpoint F3 1 TB or one Brand new Western Digital 1 TB Black Caviar.

It will perform the test but it will say "Device Failed".  It also has a current detector that will signal the MCU to cut the Power to the device under test in case of overcurrent and will be displayed on the LCD.  The test will also terminate immediately in case of failure of one logic gate and not all.  The MCU also turns on the correct supply for 14 pin, 16 pin, 20 pin etc. so if you chose the wrong IC, chances are it will not have the supply to power it.  The overcurrent detector is also used in case the device under test has experience a catasthropic failure.

After you have chosen which Logic IC to test, it connects the Supply to the corresponding pin, pin 14,pin 16 or pin 20.  After that, it checks the overcurrent pin.  If there is an overcurrent, it disconnects the power.  This what the logic IC tester do before testing an IC.  The  microcontroller pins are all high or in input state so it will not pull down the pin of the Logic IC when connecting the power of the device under test.  This prevents damage to the logic IC in case you entered the wrong part number.

This project is made from scratch and I did not copy or download from the Internet.  I wish to post it for Free in elabs to earn pogi points but I need the money to buy some things like a harddisk or a solar panel.
Usually, I earn USD$500 for such a project but the publisher said this project is not interesting to their readers.  That is why I am selling it.

You can see from the size of the source code that this project is not made in just one afternoon or one day.  I spent many days coding it and testing it to earn the USD$500 from Circuit Cellar.  However, it was not published.
