i think the big reason is too much corruption on government projects that would result in a sloppy construction .. just imagine what would happen if they built a nuclear power plant that encountered a lot of SOP.. the final outcome is not a nuclear power plant but a nuclear bomb that would go kaboom seconds after the ribbon cutting ceremony hehehehehe...
Actually sumabog na talaga yang nuke plant natin!!! Ang alam kong damage diyan is 1 billion dollars wwwhheewww and we are paying 20 million dollars monthly sa after effect......hindi ko lang alam na kung patch na nang ating gov. ang contract.
the chernobyl accident sa russia in 1986 was the reason why the aquino administration pulled the plug on the project
My only problem with nuclear plants is hazardous waste.
hindi pa sumasabog ang planta as wala pang incident na pinaandar itoh. the only thing left is to choose either to put this plant up to modern day specs, or to build a new one entirely.mura ang power sa taiwan, thanx to their nukes.
