sir,

design specs naman for a trafo..

200V primary/110V@300mA sec/6.3V@2A

btw, I have been reading on your trafos, bakit mas gusto mo ang 2:1(220v:110v) and do a voltage doubler nalang...kesa 1:1(220v:220v)?

i favor voltage doublers when using ss rectifiers because of ease of winding coils and insulation requirements are not as difficult compared to traditional topologies.....

for small power amps and preamps, i favor hybrid rectification using tube and solid state rectifiers, even here, winding the traffo is much easier and insulation requirements are more relaxed....

update:

these traffos have 1 3/4, 1 1/2, 1 1/4inch center legs for use on solidstate power amps:

"2. core size equals 1 1/4 stacked to 1 3/4 inches"

Does it mean yun bobbin eh rectangular yung butas sa gitna?

Ang hirap kasi maghanap sa raon.

May thread pala nito, thanks sir Tony!

Maski sa DEECO, they take advantage of unsuspecting people, bentahan ba naman ako ng 1/4W 5% resistor at 1 petot each.

hinid ako sure na mas makakatipid, since i make all my transformers, i never bothered to check on the costs.....i do not think na makakatipid ka....i make my own traffos para masunod yung gusto ko, sonething not possible with off the shelf items....

a 1kVA isolation traffo will have a core of 1 3/4 stacked to about 3.5 inches...or a 2inch x 3 inch stacked...
i prefer the 2inch core, you can use bigger wire size.

i got 5 torroids, apparently surpluss, i checked the windings and they are suitable for 220volts...i made shuttles from cardboards and dismantled one.
