quote form e-gizmo.com
"AvrMega8
New! AVR8 Experimenter Board
ATmega8L experimenter board with on board 5V/3.3V voltage regulator circuit. It has the same pin terminal layout as the gizDuino, making it compatible with all gizDuino expansion module. It is essentially as low cost stripped down version of gizDuino, using a controller with less program memory (8K), and no USB serial port. Added features includes a mounting connector for e-Gizmo EGBT9830 BlueTooth Module or UHF Transceiver module, making this kit ideal for RF wireless remorte control applications."

 ;D kelan kya?

just got one today and it took a very long time for them to get the chip on boad and upload the bootloader. i'm also surprised to see that they gave me an atmega168 instead of atmega8 which they told me over ym. they also forgot to tell me that i will need a usb to usb cable (male - female).

I'm a noob when it comes to electronics and since I got a gizduino from e-gizmo wala akong nakuhang tulong galing sa kanila. I had trouble on setting it up the first time pero yung online support nila ilang oras bago sumagot sa mga tanong ko.   >:(

I am planning to make a hexapod. Already connected the ps2 controller to the gizduino and 3 servos. I ran out of pins on the gizduino so I asked their online help about USB->TTL cable or servo controller pero they all bailed out on me (ayaw sumagot sa mga tanong ko  >:(). Buti nalang d ako bumili ng servo or iba pang items sa kanila baka gnito nanaman ulit ang makukukha kong support galing sa kanila. I'll probably try Alexans for the parts and Lils for the servos because the servos in Lils are much cheaper than Alexans or E-Gizmos.

Anyway I was hoping someone could help me make a servo shield (no thanks to E-gizmo  >:() or make a sanguino/mega instead for more pins to control the servos.

Bill Porters PS2 controller for Arduino library rocks I even got the dual shock working for the gizduino but just enough pins for a few servos!!!!!!!!!
