parehas na microprocessors sila.
price is much better at AMD.
may kamahalan mag intel.
performance and durability...
i guess parahas lang kung i coconsider mo sa price range vs speed.

kapag may installation kami sa office. i mix and match between intel and amd.. and i guess they do make good processors. may intel and amd fanboys talaga pinagugulo lang isipan nang mga tao. kesa mainit ang amd or super bilis nang intel. regardless of what they said... i really think na hoax lang ito. it's like comparing a zilog mcu to a pic mcu.

sobrang mababaw ang reason ko kung bakit AMD ang choice ko.. mas madali kasi ilagay ang heatsink ng AMD kumpara sa Intel.. Yung motherboards designed for AMD CPUs have metal backplates which serves as the support for the heatsink..

Yung motherboards na designed for Intel nag-aasa lang sa PCB ng motherboard for support.. the end result is that after a few years, yung likod ng motherboard mo ay "bent" or "kuba" na.. he he he he..

Samantalang yung motherboards designed for AMD CPUs, after several years, straight pa rin yung likod because of the metal backplates..

In my opinion, yung heatsink attachment ng LGA775 is HORRENDOUSLY DESIGNED.. it is a piece of crap..

been using AMD for years isa pang gusto di sila masyado nagpapalit ng mainboard unlike sa intel

we have several AMD PC's at home at once lang kami nagkaroon ng Pentium 4..

1 - AMD P75 ( retired, bought in 1996 )
1 - AMD K6-2 ( retired, dead motherboard )
1 - Athlon XP ( retired, but still working )
1 - Sempron LE ( Dad's pc )
1 - Dual Core X2 7750 ( the one im using at the living room when watching TV )
1 - Triple Core X3 435 ( the one im using in my room - Open 24 Hours a day )

i damn concur! grrrrr kung bakit ba walang back support yan? parng RROD sa xboxes meron nga yet still bents..

di lang yung bigat ng heatsink but yung pressure mismo ng mounting poles ang nakaka-kuba sa PCB ng motherboard.. kung mahinang klase ang PCB ng board, tiyak mag-crack yan he he he he.. kaya dapat ASUS, Gigabyte o MSI palagi board mo kung mag LGA775 ka..

naalala ko yung landlord ko dati bumili ng bagong PC ECS ang board pina assemble lang pero di na pina test, pagdating sa bahay ayaw mag boot binuksan ko (buti walang warranty sticker

) at kinalas pagkatangal ng board sobra pagka bent ayun binalik nasira ang board
