Security System over the internet

may project po ako...security system na mag-dedetect ng thief,intruder,fire etc... what i want is to transfer the data obtained by my device over the internet to a remote pc....pano po kaya to??? gusto ko po sana ay yung device ko ay icoconnect na lang sa isang internet source, hindi po sa isang pc( ayoko kasi magkaroon ng pc host na magdamag nkbukas), icoconnect n lang po sa globe broadband directly for example......then dun sa remote pc receiver ay pede ko na pong makita yung mga data... please tell me the components/things that i integrate to my device para mkkpagtransmit ng data over the internet..

kailangan mo ng isang host na parating naka on.  it could be a pc but kung ayaw mo ng pc, may mga microprocessor based web server. mga system on a chip type.  I google mo na lang.  bale magkakaroon ng "mini" webserver yung pinaka host device mo and magkaka ip address yun.  then pwede mo na i connect sa switch or directly sa router mo (lan port), and then pagaralan mo lang port forwarding para makita outside of the router yung port 80 (web server port) nung device mo. 

so using any remote internet connection, pwede ka kumonnect sa webserver mo na andun yung status ng security system mo.

may nasuggest po ung prof ko dati, zigbee ba yun o xbee ata...pero hindi ko po naintindihan ung text niya eh...are u familiar about it...

yup google mo lang zigbee.   for wireless communication yan.  halimbawa  door sensor mo to your central host communication.
