Hi sa lahat!

Nakabili rin ako ng PICME last January sa Alexan kasi interested ako sa I2C at SPI programming.  May problema lang ako...

Salamat!

Is it ok to use solid wire to access the I/O pins? (directly inserting wire into dual function header socket)

Gamit ko yang PICME sa Windows 7, wala naman issues whatsoever for me.

Ok lang naman. Ingat lang maputol and maiwan sa socket yung piraso at medyo mahirap minsan alisin.

If it is not ideal to insert solid wire into the dual function pins, what should you use instead?

Dont worry about failures but worry about the chances you miss if you dont even try...........

Sure. The included CCS trial version is very old though, so hindi ko na sinama sa archive. Download ka na na
lang ng mas recent from the CCS site if you want to use that compiler.

Kung USB serial, minsan nag wa wander yung port setting. Make sure na tama.

Any chance you overwrote your bootloader? Happened to me not too long ago.

---

Di ko mahanap kung ano yung original bootloader (anyone here know kung ano) na gamit ng PICMe so
I installed tinybldr instead which works well enough.

As it goes, I found this local blogger na may PICme info on his site pero medyo matamlay
sa detalye ang postings so I went and asked kung ano yung name ng bootloader na ginamit
nya and where to find it --- I saw his reply this morning -- he sent me a Paypal link :D
Kelangan muna daw mag *donate before he can send me any info. haha

Yup. hassle lang sa tinybldr na you have to keep the reset button on-hold while flashing.

Tinanong ko yung blogger kung magkano minimum donation tsaka kung yung name ba ng bootloader e for sale rin :) inaantay ko pa sagot.

Hi! I was wondering if may nakagamit na ba nung PICME na binibenta sa Alexan? Gusto ko sana subukan. I have bought one, but then I need help installing it, since I do not have any experience with PIC. Thanks!

If anyone would be willing to help, please send an email to etenyworks@yahoo.com. I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
