what you have here is a single phase motor, there is a running winding and starting winding in series with the capacitor.....if you do away with the capacitor, you will have to manually assist the motor to rotate in the direction you desire....

jacks, iba yung 3 phase like the ones in alternators, ito yung sinasabi ko. single phase lang, 2 windings:Note, red white is common. Binaliktad lang yung isang wind. yo can achieve same thing by switching main wind and cap wind.
