Tanong ko lang sa mga expert lalo na sa mga engrs, paano nakakatipid ng kuryente ang extreme power saver na ibinibenta sa ACE hardware sa SM? May ideya ba kayo? Sa label ng box nito ay nakasaad: " Extreme Power Saver is a device that recycles the partial electrical waste generated by the said inductive equipment. This recycled electrical power is then fed back to the same circuit at the same time thus reducing the need for fresh electrical power." Ang tanong sa isip ko: Ganun ba kalakas ang device na ito at kaya niyang ibalik ang wasted energy ng mga appliances eh malaki lang ito ng konti sa isang baretang sabon? At matay ko mang pagaralan ang connection naka-parallel ito sa AC socket ng bahay kapag nakasaksak. Papaano nito mahuhuli ang wasted energy na kanilang sinasabi? I need to be enlightened please.

Wala ata mi alam....
Di ko rin alam how it actually works. My opinion- it is a filter that absorbs power spikes generated by the device. So without those power-wasting spikes or surges, then you have clean power. Masmababa nga ang consumo kung ganuon. But not much!

News: Nabasa ko yung ibang posts. Power factor correction capacitor lang pala yon.

Yes this is only a power factor corrector para sa mga inductive appliances such as ref, aircon , electric fans etc....kasi karamihan ng appliances natin ay inductive types so makakatulong din sa consumption eto...pero di eto pwede sa mains ...pang single outlet lang ata ito.

placebo effect lang yan.....the best way to save is to use your appliances sensibly and turn them off, pull out the plugs when not in use....
