pwede din, kaya lang magiging half-wave na lang effectively bawat rail which means much more capacitance is needed para sa mga filter capacitors.

There is another way at looking at the circuit- a voltage doubler.

The circuit will definitely work, albeit, at low current applications only. Large output current will require proportionately large capacitors. Mas OK pa rin ang center tapped pag medyo malaki ang current na kailangan mo. ;)

just to add on to that, make sure to
use a nice low ESR caps  :)

pwede po ba ito?

the full-wave bridge rectifier with center tapped transformer is actually 2 voltage doublers combined.....this is obvious upon inspection...

this is a full wave rectifier, meaning that current flows thru the transformer secondary for the full 360 degrees....
