It is not the answer that enlightens, but the question.

^ hehe, bakit nyo po naman nasabing all of their products are "disposable"? I think that judgement is only based on bias for branded products. The mouse I am using here in the office has already served me for 4 years and it's cd-r king.

n-type, may print server, 4 ethernet ports, 1 wan port & 1 3g mobile port (usb).

so pag nag-down ang dsl/cable meron ka backup 3g connection.

Here using tp-link isa sa mura hanggang ngayon ok pa. Pero additional range mas ok yata yung d-linx.

in terms of specs, the best so far is Asus RT-N16. then upgrade ng tomato firmware.

http://www.polarcloud.com/tomato

http://www.linksysinfo.org/forums/showthread.php?t=63587

since asus rt-n16 has fast processor, big ram and flash. dami mong pwedeng install after upgrading it to tomato. here are some uses of my asus rt-n16

1. 24/7 torrent downloader. laking tipid kasi less than 10w
2. VPN server
3. FTP server
4. NAS
5. Wake On LAN to turn on my PCs remotely

here is the wiki link for tomato firmware. andyan din yong list ng compatible router. wala sa list ang dir-634m. pero pagkakaalam ko basta broadcom processor ang gamit ng router compatible sya. same nong sa cdr-king router na may usb port wala sya sa list pero pwede sya. hanap ka lang ng firmware mod na match sa cpu ng router mo.
