sir, i think it is 0.2Amp (200mA) not 0.02Amp (20mA)..

a bunch of LEDs might offer comparable if not brighter light at that power consumption (200mA@12V is about 2.4watts). yun nga lang mas mahal ang LEDs, but then again mahal din ang ignition coil. at may mga murang chinese white led flashlights wherein the LEDs can be rewired to series/parallel for 12V operation. (normally the LEDs are wired in parallel for 4.5V operation). just my thoughts anyway..
overall, nice job sir.   you might want to consider winding a custom transformer using the ferrite cores from discarded pc powersupplies..

sir 2big, for higher efficiency you are better off with ferrite cored transformers (ex, discarded pc power supply traffo, flyback traffos) than with laminated iron core based such as ignition coils. the reason being at high oscillation frequencies, the losses goes up quickly on iron cored transformers. this is also the reason why electronic ballasts use ferrite cored traffos.
btw, could you measure the current drain without load? i ask this so that we can better quantify the efficiency of the circuit.

Yes...nice suggestion...I will try to measure that once I have the completed parts already. For now kasi, naka sched akong mag linis ng HHO gen ko at mag setup ng bagong coil don sa HHO electrical system ko for a long drive tomorrow..

Hanggang ngayon 2 years old na, working good pa rin.

20w Solar cell + 2sm battery + ups

At magkano yung 20watts solar panel at battery. May ginamit ka pangrecharge dyan.

@ Undergrad

depende kasi sa load. @ 20 watts. 1.6 amp charging current. may loss pa.

sa preliminary test ko using 2 12 volts 11 watts na CFL. using it for 6 hours. it takes 10 hours bago ma full charge ang battery.

PWM and SOC charge controller

deep cycle battery (100 amp / 12 volts solar master) = 6,200 petot

mga ilan watts and LED to compete atleast 23 watts of CFL? :)

hindi ako expert pero according to my opinion
