Responsibilities:
Position 1: Android / Linux
Position 2: Embedded Software
Be part of the international software development team to develop embedded software for Radio or Radio-Navigation products to meet OEM customer requirements.
Be involved through-out the software development life cycle (project planning, requirement definition and analysis, architecture analysis and definition, design, implementation, integration and validation), field-test and maintenance of the embedded software.
Principal and Senior Engineers will lead project team(s) in building competence for the software department.
Additional Responsibility for Position 1 only:
Be part of the Android development team to develop new Linux / Android solutions for our Automotive clients.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering or Diploma with more than 5 years of product verification / validation knowledge with automated test creation & setup experience (preferably in embedded systems).
Experience in formal software engineering methodology.
Knowledge in automotive communication bus, Labview or Teststand is preferred.
Able to learn independently and work well under tight development schedules.
Must be able to travel for work attachment and training.
Possess valid class 3 driving license.
Additional Requirements for Position 1 only:
Strong programming skill in Java or Java Native Interface (JNI)
Experience in building applications on Android would be an advantage.
Strong knowledge in LINUX OS architecture would be an added advantage.
