car alternator rotor
« on: November 02, 2010, 08:18:53 AM »
I have taken apart a car alternator, found out that the windings in the rotor burnt out, now I want to rewind the coil, the problem is, how can I take aprt the rotor, I already used a "pullers" to get the rotor out of its shafting but no go. It won't budge. In an ordinary electric fan rotor, using a puller to pull out the rotor is easy.Anybody out there who know how to take apart the rotor core so I can reach the windings?
