I bought a Samsung at WalMart for a trip to Florida and paid $118.00 for it. It has good functions and is battery powered so I didn't have to worry about recharging it, just carrying extra double A batteries around. It turns out good pics and I like it plus, after 3 years, it is still going strong. Perhaps something like that at WalMart will suit your purposes better.
