E-Gizmo's Ethernet TCP/IP to Serial Shield
« on: November 20, 2010, 12:15:19 AM »
It's my first day using this and madali siya gamitin.

Here is my current setup for testing... Encircled in green is the wire to short the serial lines (RX and TX) for loopback testing.

Here is the procedure from setting the static IP up to hyperterminal loopback testing.

I successfully tested it using C# (sockets)

Here is the complete source code (Compiled and tested in Microsoft Visual C# 2010):
http://codepad.org/eKoc8evj

- although the code is working, it still needs to implement other exception error that may occur (especially if somebody will reuse some of the codes in the example)... Di ko na sinimulate lahat ng exception error as this is just a connectivity test between the  TCP/IP shield and C# :)

edit: may typo error pa pala: "It this is displayed, the test is successful! Congrats!"   dapat  "If this is displayed, the test is successful! Congrats!" hehehehe...

yup sir, most probably pede itong Ethernet Shield ng Gizmo..

I want to create an ENC28J60 din para maka dwelve ako deeper at ma experience ko gamitin yung TCP/IP stack ng microchip (just for learning purpose)... Malaking plus dito sa shield is ready-made solution na siya (almost zero development cost) at ang halos icoconfigure na lang is yung bilis UART settings via web config...

on-topic:

parang kulang yung nasa user's manual ng ATC-1000m, di ko mahanap kung paano yung procedure para macontrol yung Command Channel (for the 7 GPIO's).... :(   (search mode)

^hahahah! impakta ka din! :)

or kahit sa home automation nalang-- pwedeng pwede!.

nice one sis! ganda mo! :)

E-Gizmo's Ethernet TCP/IP to Serial Shield And Gizduino
« Reply #13 on: November 20, 2010, 06:10:09 PM »
Here is the code for integrating the TCP-IP Shield and Gizduino

Code: [Select]
// By 7
// Version 00.08.00
#include <SoftwareSerial.h>

#define rxPin 0
#define txPin 1

SoftwareSerial mySerial =  SoftwareSerial(rxPin, txPin);
byte pinState = 0;

void setup() {
  pinMode(rxPin, INPUT);
  pinMode(txPin, OUTPUT);
  pinMode(ledPin, OUTPUT);
  mySerial.begin(9600);
  mySerial.print("Hello! This is Gizduino!");
}

void loop() {
  char c = mySerial.read();
  mySerial.print((char)(c+1));
}

Using hyperterminal: 192.168.2.1 port 23
Pag nagtype: nagtype sa hyperterminal, marereceive ng gizduino then ibabalik nya ng +1... for example: Pag nagpadala ng "s", ibabalik ng "t"
