Check the e-gizmo power analyzer manual for details. Baically tama yang connection diagram, the only thing missing is the pull-up resistor on the pic rx pin. This is needed because the output of serial of the power analyzer is optically coupled.

Wala ka kasing contrast control sa lcd display mo. Check the mikroc lcd library (trimmer or pot connected to vee) , you will see the sample code with the corresponding schematic diagram.

sa itsura nang lcd mo (2 lines of square images), parang hindi ito nang initialize ng tama.saka mukhang maciadong maliwanag ang backlight ng lcd, kung naka direct yan sa 5V supply, pwdeng hindi magtagal ang lcd, masira agad.

5V supply naman talaga ang input sa mga lcd display with backlight so bakit masisira?

Paano mo ma-aadjust kung hindi variable? Also, based on your actual pic, wala kang loading caps sa crystal mo so hindi talaga gagana yan.

You better post the exact schematic as you bread boarded it.

Those things are basic stuff and sad to say, marami rami din ang nagpopost ng schematic using proteus and they dont include some components anymore because it works in simulation without the components. But in actual h/w implementation, those missing components from simulation are really needed.

^^ Its good that you are reading the datasheets and for the particular brand and model that is represented in the datasheet above, what you say is true.

But most 2x16, 2x20, 20x4 lcd displays don't need an external series resistor for the BL as it is already incorporated in the lcd display. At least all the LCD displays I have, has two smd resistors in parrallel connected in series to either pin 15 or 16.

ano po kaya mga possible problems bkit po ndi ko ma receive iyong mga data, ndi ma display sa LCD ang value dun sa binigay niyo po na program?.. tsaka mainit maxado ang 5w 100ohms na resistor, ok lang ba iyon?.. pull up resistor 4.7k galing sa output ng j1(optocoupler) ang gamit ko papunta sa Rx ng PIC16f877A, ano po ba kulang dun?.. nid help po lapit na po kasi final defense, salamat ng marami mga idol
