Share ko lang. I experienced this before a lot of times kahit nung dati pa. Yesterday, sobrang bagal ng pag burn ng DVD-R, ayun pala naka PIO mode lang. kahit anong set ko to DMA mode, ayaw mag DMA mode, laging PIO. upon research, kelangan lang pala i-uninstall sa device manager yung IDE controllers para bumalik sa DMA mode because may mga failure counters yun na pag naabot nya, pinipili nya yung mas mabagal na mode.
meron ding tweak sa registry para di mangyari ito.
