pic16f84A to parallel port of PC

Hello po mga kuya..

             ask ko lng kung pano mginterface ng pic16f84a going to parallel port? all i need is just 1 pin of the PIC (like rb0 or rb1, etc.) going to the port of the parallel.. direct ko lng ba lalagay connection between sa pin ng pic to the parallel port?..

             my goal is pag may nilabas na output ung 1 pin ng pic.. mariread nung nkaprogram nmin sa vb ang signal.. then it will add it to the counter..
             can i request for a simple circuit diagram?

ok lang direct connection pero mas maganda kong may opto coupler. para kung magkaproblema sa pic circuit mo hindi madadamay ang parallel port
