meron po ba jan arduino compatible na BT?? baka kase mag ganyan nalang ako kesa zigbee.. mahal kase nun eh..

arduino compatible naman yan. 3.3v tolerant. 5v ata ang arduino. you can just use voltage divider from arduino tx to bt rx.

just to remind you, class II bt module has distance of 10meters. while standard zigbee is longer. but if 10m is enough with your project, bt is ok.

sir, newbie question po. anu po ang minimum circuit setup sa module na to? kung ang kailangan ko po ay basic rs232 communication function, ok lang po ba na i-supply all VCC ang GND connections and then use only the uart-tx at uart-rx and connect it to the db9 connector corresponding tx/rx pins (gagana na po ba)?

kung pc rs232 mo ikakabit, you will need rs232 level converter like max232 or ds275. 3.3v level kasi yang bluetooth module. 10 -15v ang rs232. kung sa 3.3v mcu uart mo icoconect, diretso ka na lng.

just supply the bluetooth module with 3.3v, ready na ang tx rx pins nyan with default settings.

oks tnx sir. medyo na hihipnotize na nga ako sa mga info eh. wala kasi ako experience sa microcontroller at electronics, maliban lang sa konting exercise at lessons nung college tungkol sa MC6800 microprocessor at micro-controller programming gamit yung assembly.

tested my bt module last night (tnx for the item sir. ang bilis ng delivery, na exite agad ako). the module got successfully detected and paired with the macos, windows7 and android2.2. sa windows, nagkaroon ako ng 2 virtual serial ports. with a simple c# program using serialports io library, i was able to connect and disconnect to the 2 virtual serial ports at the same time (tig isang connection). ang galing. hehehe.

Q: newbie question po sir (sensya na), panu po ang mapping ng 2 virtual serial ports sa actual pin out ng BT module? (pin 1 tx, pin 2 rx <-- bali sir, anung virtual com port ang naka map sa pin outs na to? or sa anung pin outs pa ako makakakuha ng physical serial connection?) (sa unang pag kaka akala ko (which is mali) ay bibigyan ako ng isang virual com port lang ng BT module which maps directly to the pin1 and pin2. since 2 virtual serial port ang binigay ng module,. edi mas maganda.. baka sakaling hindi lang isang device ang pwede ko i communicate at one BT connection (pwede bang 2 serial device ang naka connect dun sa pin1 at pin2?).)

for a start, try to do echo test. send char to bluetooth module using windows serial terminal na gamit mo, and short tx rx pin ng bluetooth module. you should see the char you sent on the bt module in your terminal windows.

ingat sa pag solder sa tx rx pins. madaming users nyan ang naputulan ng connection sa tx rx sa pagtanggal kabit ng wires.

tnx sa info sir. ayun pala. yup, yun nga din naisip ko sir, kaya di ko pa ni sosolder yung connections. hanap pa ako ng tray na may mga paa na pwede patungan ng BT module (yung parang tray ng mga ic chips) habang testing palang. inipit ko lang muna yung terminals nya kagabi sa breadboard para ma test.
