CarEEEr Talk 2011 is the primer of graduating students on how the field of Electrical and Electronics
Engineering plays its role in the real world. It sets down their options on the table after the graduation
day. The event will illustrate the big picture of the industry and how every attendee can be part of it.
Innovate now, and never look back!
[Objectives]
· give students an overview of career paths in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering
· prepare graduating students for job hunting
· extend job opportunities to engineering students from UP and other universities
· build a community that would break the divide between fresh graduates and employers
· offer various perspectives on landing that dream job
[Seminar]
The event will be held on March 5, 2011, Saturday, at the Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Institute (EEEI) Building in UP Diliman. The seminar will feature distinguished guest speakers from
the academe and industry whose expertise and broad knowledge will enlighten the participants to
careers options they have. The topics they will be discussing, four of which will cater to specific career
paths for CS, EE, ECE, and CoE graduates are as follows:

[Audience]
Targeted audience is graduating CS and EEE students from various universities. Students in their 3rd,
4th, or 5th years are very much welcome to attend. The expected attendance will be around 250
participants, with good representation from universities in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
