oh so hindi pala viable ang mag genrators, i guess wind & Solar power is the way to go to the Future then?
sna tayo nrin, may ganyang uri nang source ng kuryente...
and yet countries like China, France and Chile are still going ahead with nuclear power. same as Iran, north korea and pakistan
i think we need renewable sources. geothermal, or hydroelectrics.. or maybe even natural gas.. yung available dito..
I am more for concentrating on improving Hydroeloectrics than geothermal.. Because I think Hydroelectrics are more conducive to our country being agricultural.. Pede itong patubig para sa mga tanim ng magsasaka.. at the same time yung dam pweding palaisdaan, also flood control.. Nagagamit hindi lang as energy but also as food producer for our people.. We just need to find areas na pede gawin dam for future energy needs.. and mag tabi ng pera taon taon as parang savings ng gobyrno... wala kasing idea of savings ang gobyerno.. inuubos lahat ng pera...
nearly 30% of our energy needs is already powered by geothermal plants. and I believe marami pa rin namang research dito as pointed out by our former consultant from UP.ang sa tingin kong main problem kung bakit hindi na tayo gumagawa ng geothermal plants or any other plants is investment. like typical Pinoy business mindset, may nagagamit pa naman at kumikita pa ng pera, 'di pa kailangan ng bago.
hydropower is more expensive than geothermal, the cost of the power from the San Roque dam in pangasinan is roughly 10 peysos per kWhr. another problem is you have to flood an area to support the water requirements. that is terra-forming and could have consequences in the future as some areas will receive less water than they used to. and the dam will need to be de-silted else it will become shallow and unusable.
Kelangan natin mag sagawa ng risk analysis... kasi madalas mag alboroto ang mga bulkan ngayun.. sa mga Volcano kasi tinatayo yan..sana government owned na not privatized... wala na yatang privatized na Powerplant na di mataas sumingil.. coz their all about profits.. plus foreign lagi ang investor.. factor in foreign exchange.. kaya mahal din sumingil...
I dont know why San Roque rate is that high if that is really true.. when consumer generation charge is only about 5php per/kwh. ang alam ko mababa lang ang charge ng angat dam.. its government run and owned.. while san roque is IPP (Privatized).. maybe thats why its high we have to pay the foreign investors in their own terms like our toll fees and MRT.. while the governmen still cover the liability... thats just greaaaatttt...
buti nalang di natuloy mabenta yung Angat Dam.. kundi tatas tubig pati kuryente.. kunwari lang sa umpisa mababa.. tapos saka itataas.. gagaling sa technique parang ninja.....
mahirap pa matrack ang corruption.. kasi private na... yung private na tao magbibigay kay senator congerss man bwan bwan para maipasa ang gusto nila.. no wrtten records only complete deniability.. wootsssssss yan ang technique...
something is still wrong...there must be a reason (not excuse) why we can't have cheap electricity.Data gathering lang naman ang nagawa ng ERC.
