i remember my first tube amp is a 6AR5 Single ended driven by 12AV6 triode, these tubes can give a modest 3watts/ch pentode mode of excellent sound quality :D

highly recommended as beginners project  :)

another mean looking "unicorn" tube..... :D

found some more gems of a tube:

lots of 6RRH8, these are japanese tubes looks very closely similar to the 6H23 Russian tubes....
a pair of ECC182,  ECC90, 6146, 12BG7, 6DQ6, 40KG6 tubes....thse are not for sale.....

as of today, for disposal are about 20+ 6005, 6AS5, 6AR5, 6AQ5 7pin power tubes, and 10 6AV6 triode/diode tubes, the 6av6 is 1/2 12ax7......

as usual, cellphone loads will get you these tubes....0932-509-5191

tubes are not cartoned since the boxes are already decrepit......

7 pins yung tubes and need 7pin sockets..i have some old stock sockets........ang magpapamahal sa tubes ay sockets at shipping.....i will come up with a traffo design to those brave enough to roll their own....

maybe we can convince edrel to make very small, 3/4 inch sq. pp opt....or a 5/8 inch square single ended opt.....if you can find tubed tv's, the vertical output transformers can be harvested, better yet, they are almost always single ended so you can harvest the output traffo as well.......

di problema yung cost ng tubes, 100per tube for the beam power and 75 for the 6av6...... mas mahal pa nga ang shipping costs.....

:o :o wow bargain to da max :D :D for those wanting to build a tube linestage, i suggest the 6AV6, you need two for stereo, four for cathode follower design.

2 petot lang? 50 singil sa akin ng binilihan ko sa Robinsons Pioneer, Pasig :P Sir Ric pa pm address sa taytay in case kailangan ko mag "pa konsulta" sa klinika mo :D

6AQ5 has same characteristics as the popular 6V6, ang pinagkaiba lang yung pinning & packaging, this is the miniaturized version.

btw, 6005 is a rugged version of 6AQ5, designed for aerospace & mobile duty, can withstand up to 600G of rapid acceleration in an aircraft.

an average human can only withstand 5G, rest assured your tube amp still plays in an aircraft even you have long passed out... ;D

Just kidding, testing is for free..dalawa nga yan..yung isa (Kyoritsu),ibinenta ko nung ma phase-out ang tube. (Sayang, kung alam ko lang babalik ang detubo, sana di ko na dinespose).the picture above is brand new before...It's a shame to show the current situation..It's my DIY Tube Tester from School.

Sir Efren, why would you consult at me..You are more professional here,I'm just a high school graduate and a small person to consult with..Nothing much to see in my workshop..Anyway you are Welcome in my home...I'll PM my address.

Nah sir ric, we are in the same shoe more or less.......& i'll bet you're in the "more" side; got your pm :D ;)

Now back to topic: tube testers were a familiar sight at Raon during the eighties, gradually disappearing in the early nineties becoming extinct in 2K, but still a number in mint condition were still in the hands of some lucky individual, you sir ric, being one of them :D
