Telecommunications Job Survey
« on: May 17, 2008, 12:00:22 PM »
I have a friend who is very much interested in setting up a subcontracting company in the telecommunications field.

What I mean by telecommunications is in the field of GSM/3G/UMTS.  I'm just doing a SURVEY if anyone specially fresh graduates will be willing to pursue this career path.  They will be trained to handle and configure GSM/3G/UMTS equipment and this would be a good stepping stone into a telecoms career.

If I could gather enough responses to be indicative of potential candidates for this,  this plan might push through.  Work involves working as a subcontractor for one of the biggest multinational telecom vendors and commissioning their GSM/3G/UMTS  equipment for the local  telco operators like Smart or Globe.  Work will be mainly in the Metro Manila area but there is high chances to travel domestically in any area of the Philippines.

Working in this field will involve a lot of travel within NCR or the provinces and most likely always be done during the night.

If anyone is interested, just kindly post in this thread if you are interested and what would your theoretical expected salary be.  This is mainly for fresh graduates but those who are already in a certain field who wishes to shift into this telecoms field are also welcome.

Remember, this is just a SURVEY so don't send any resumes or ask for details about the company.
