yung mga 5% resistors lang, 2 crystal caps at 3.3V regulator lang ang smd, the rest TH na ... have to work with what I have. :D

Below is the semi-finished USB AVR LAB using mix TH and SMD components.  There was a fatal flow in my PCD design  .....  I forgot to include a jumper header for the reset and I forgot to connect to ground pins 8 & 10 of the IDC connector, also its missing one precision resistor needed for the oscilloscope function, I bought a 33K but got a 39K instead  ...  hirap talaga pag minamadali.

Anyways, below is version 2 PCB with the corrections.

Eto naman yung finished project:  Exactly the same as the first version but with the additional jumper header and prebiously missing precision resistor.

Pinag aaralan ko pa mga features pero maganda to kasi may built-in clock generator (using pin 3) so can can easily revive dead avrs with wrong clock settings.

I mean atmega fusebit doctor pala  ....   kasi the spien fusebit cannot be changed anyway using isp programming, ang parating problem lang eh yung clock settings.

Yung D+ and D- has to be 3.3V level talaga as per usb spec.  But yung supply sa chip, either 5V or 3.3V pwede if the chip supports 3.3V levels also.  Atmega8L kasi yung gamit na chip kaya 3.3V yung supply but optional naman yun.

Yung ginawa ko, instead of using zener and transistor for the 3.3V supply, gumamit na lang ako ng 3.3V LDO regulator tapos may jumper selector to choose either 5V or 3.3V.

Also, you will still need 5V to program older AVR chips na 5V only, lahat yata kasi ng bagong avr chips eh 1.8V to 5.5V na ang VCC kaya ginawa niyang 3.3V yung basis ng supply ng USB AVR LAB..
