Need to assemble PC pero di ko sure kung AMD ba o Intel maganda...
For video and photo editing ang gamit..

for gaming I opt for AMD, but for video/audio editing I go for Intel since bias ang mga apps for editing, made for intel ang processing lalo na adobe premier

Ito yung observation ko dati comparing a dual core intel with a dual core amd with the same amount of SRAM. Overall performance, mas maganda ang AMD pero pagdating sa video/photo editing mas mabilis ang intel. In terms of cpu speed mas mabilis yung specs nung AMD pero talo pa rin ng intel pagdating sa video editing.

Nung nireresearch ko kung bakit, I found out that the L2 cache of the intel is more bigger than that of the AMD. The L2 cache btw is also one of the big factor creating heat sa CPU so ito yung strategy na ginamit ni AMD sa CPU niya to make it run cooler than the intel.

So if you will compare spec by specs the X6 with the i5, obvious choice, X6 wins over the i5. The X6, aside from the additional 2 cores, has a more bigger L2 cache. Advantage pa if you will also use 64-bit OS dahil native 64-bit ang X6 unlike intel.

Sa price range like comparable yung X6 and i5 IHMO as they are marketed in the same price range.

may suggestion ako. bat di mo try ung FM3 ng AMD.. APU na un anlupet grabe, sa CPU nya may built in na video card and north bridge, tapos iba pa ung north bridge sa Board mo, high end talaga tpos in the future pag di ka kuntento sa graphic nun you can do crossfiring sa iadd mo na video card...

anyways... i5 has 2 cores only.. for thread lang xa kaya xa parang 4 core but in reality 2 cores lang po un....
