Digital Energy Meters Vs. Electromechanical Energy Meters
« on: June 01, 2008, 12:55:31 AM »
any comments?  ;D .. in the province preferred pa rin ang electromechanical meters kasi madaling dayain hehehe.
I wish for this night-time to last for a lifetime
The darkness around me
Shores of a solar sea
Oh how I wish to go down with the sun
Sleeping
Weeping
With you

I walk alone
Every step I take
I walk alone
My winter storm
Holding me awake
It’s never gone

I fear that soon you'll reveal
Your dangerous mind
As your true colours show
A dangerous sign

sa mga bagon condo at villages ko lang sila nakikita dito. sa mga lumang bahay yung electromechanical pa rin.

As Plato the Greek philosopher once stated, necessity is "still" the mother of invention. Although not much of an issue in his time, some citizens living in today's electrified world find it necessary to manipulate their electricity meter to cause it to stop, under-register or run backwards, effectively using power without paying for it.

Medyo mahirap pa itamper yung digital energy meters..
pero sabi nga nila "if there's a will there's a way"

life goes on...at meron pa ring mga hackers, crackers, at pasaway...
anyway they keep the wheel of innovation rolling

Mass accurate and durable ang digital meter compared to analog meters. Digital meters can display so many line data not capable by analog, further you can use SCADA with digital meters and capable of pilferage detector.

digital meters of meralco today can be souped up to provide demand (kW) as well as consumption (kWHr). very good if you are planning to apply for TOU rates.
