to have more and have in depth topics .. you have to provoke some people to express whats in their mind and heart. if you dont provoke them you cant have a pure and reliable data... what im doing is to toch their ego. like what happen now.. we are stack... because 3 ppl lang ang nag comment.. hehe.. tapos ang iinit ng ulo. hehe sorry na nga di marunong umintindi... peace..

yeah' i told u already (previously posted, do i need to mention it again?)..nabasa ko na lahat iyan..

what im asking is on ur part..as professional..

ok so please provide me ur 'specific' answer..

eto lang naman un eh'

what does really CoE do (technically speaking) without designing or working related to computers and softwares?

-----------------------------------------------
Review:

Computer Science is a study of the theory, experimentation, and engineering that form the basis for the design and use of computers—devices that automatically process information...

(1) theory and experimentation -> (computer scientist or any other field but 'definitely' not in engineering..)

sabi u sa no. 2 is 'NOT' for CoE ryt?

because all the idea that all implies with CoE is already stated and CS is not a branch of CoE  :-\

Pinakamagastos sa tingin ko yung COmp.Eng kaysa sa dalawang yan (IT and Com Scie). Pag IT and Com Scie, May computer ka lang buhay ka na eh.  ;D ;D

@topic

comp. eng. : more on hardware with software interfacing ang pinapagawa..
comp science and it: im not so sure about sa difference ng dalawa kc ung course na offered ng school namen at Comp Science and Information Tech.. pro i think na more on high level languages cla..

kng in terms of the OSI layer..

Application, Presentation, Session  << dyan nag-fofocus ung mga comp. sci at it

by the way i am CoE freshmen..

Quite frankly, I already knew your just trolling that's why I withdrew from this discussion gracefully.
(An MIS manager wouldn't commit grammatical mistakes, right ? )

try to think what course to take... but i stay on CoE coz what CS studying are also studied by CoE and more.... thank you

:D If you read my previous post, I don't think that all that CS and IT are studying are being studied by CoE. Do you have
Accounting 101 ? This might be purely school-dependent but do you have Artificial Intelligence? or Compiler theories ?

If CoE studies all CS subjects and more, don't you think your school would have thought of a CS course as redundant
and scraped it already ?

hinde mainit ulo ko dear, in fact, like what gtxr2.ren said, we are laughing and smiling while we are typing
our response, at the same time, trying to think of the simplest way we can make you understand.

And regarding puro theory, that i'm not, i'm a senior software engineer and I have been in the industry
for quite some time so whatever I'm posting, be assured that I know the real world implications of it.

But hey, enough with these discussions, I'm here to have fun.

ang buong point lang naman ng thread na ito is to have a solid grasp of what lies ahead of you if you choose between these three seemingly similar career paths. no one is inferior to the other....

peace.....

let's leave it to the experts to explain what these fields are....

Kahit anong kurso, basta linya mo talaga yan then that is the best for you.

Pero minsan din yung discussion na which degree course is better, becomes more like "my course is better than yours" argument hehe :D
