I wish the masters could explain every single component in terms of its usage. You see this ckt has more parts compared to generic amps. Why was the added components?

Just an own opinion, I think if somebody's willing to investigate the circuit, investigate first whether these circuit could really prove its claim to be a nice amp.
This was called by the designer as a "blameless amp".

May I make and assertion that the amplifier performance cannot be judged by (how well) the circuit (was designed) alone. There is one equally important component that is generally not given due attention by casual builders: the PCB Layout. Two identical circuits laid out differently will not give identical performance.

Take this as a preview of my upcoming thread  150W+150W Class D Amplifier. SHAMELESS PLUG ;D

Tama si sis Born...also consider the baffles, driver unit at surrounding kung saan ilalagay yung amplifier plus the driver...ang dami dapat iconsider...kaya tumigil na ako dito..:(

same here, I used to build 100-300W amps for home use, it never crossed my mind before that time will come I will settle down with flea powered amps,...well i'm here & loving it! ;)
