remember this drive unit?

after almost 20 years it still works.....

this is a driver module for the 300watt driven inverter....
the 2.8 volts per side is enough to drive the 2n3055 into saturation....

this is the frequency of the output voltage....
pretty close huh.....i probably wound 1 turn too many....

you can not short out the output of the driven type unless the collector circuits are fused....
not so with the self-excited inverter, you will hear a whining sound once it is overloaded....

^IME hindi naman, remember that the trannies are either saturated or cut-off so losses are really low, and heating is likewise low....

i times 2 ko yung number of turns. Remain the same lang ang L2 pati L3.
I may need to increase the 1.8K to about 3.6K to maintain your preset base
bias voltage of TIP's to about 0.6V. Please confirm kung tama ako.

Thanks,

^as long as you maintain the ratios, then all should be fine.....yes, you are correct, remember also that oscillation frequency depends on the core material as well as the number of turns......
