Got this idea while exchanging PM's with abeTeer. Plus, madaming amplifier ckts na naka-post dito like leach, p3a, laguisma, danny's amp etc

Get together minsan tapos compare natin mga DIY amps natin using the different schematics available sa internet. Maybe somebody can lend a good pair of "audiophile-grade" speakers. We can set this by Dec or Jan to give time for interested participants to look up for interesting schematics and source their components.

Idea lang naman. I admit wala akong capability to host such an event

pledge ko location ko. roof top nga lang (4th flr) and open air (hassle dito is ambient noise sa kotse, wind noise...) 2pm is hindi na mainit pwede na magaudition nang amplifiers)

since open air walang masyado reverb. pwede din i-dampen yung concrete 4ft walls nang comforters kung gusto nyo.

sana pwede mag setup nang airconditioned sound booth (anechoic)

pro ang diy build ko hangga 100w lang,,,baka lamunin lang ng silence diyan sa rooftop

BTW; sana magkaroon din dito ng thread showing your gems (amp build photos and such)...to date wala pa nga lang ako maipakita, ahehe

....so far yung mga build ata ni sir tony ang top-of-the-line

@insomartin : masarap bayuhin yang nasa pic na yan!

@abeteer : 55watts lang ang AKSA buti pa yung P3A kaya 100watts depende sa power supply and speaker. baka di na marinig sa open. Pero tingnan natin kung may mangyayari ngang EB

. I'm hearing good things regarding the AKSA. Only the baby AKSA is availabe on the internet though. Nakaka-engganyo nga sya buohin based nadin sa mga feedbacks. I hope the released schematic is a close approximation of the real thing.

kung matutuloy nga sir, you're presence would be very much welcome sir. We need to hear what a good amp/speaker setup sounds like para naman may benchmark kaming mga hobbyists/newbies. We want to know what we're missing

I can bring my home made DR20W. if AKSA is a Ferrari, rod elliot is toyota, maybe my dr20 is "sarao", my smaller amp maybe is "QQ". Where is the Hummer, Cadillac, Subaru?
